Our Story

Active Amsterdam started with a simple frustration: every travel bag we owned was either built for the gym or built for a boardroom, never for a life that moves between both.

We design in Amsterdam, a city built around movement. Bikes, canals, early trains, short flights to somewhere else by Friday. That rhythm shaped what we make.

Why vegan leather

We chose vegan leather deliberately, not as a compromise. It ages more predictably than hide, resists water better, and lets us build with consistent quality across every bag we make, without the cost to animals or the environment that traditional leather carries.

Designed with restraint

No loud logos. No unnecessary hardware. Every detail on an Active Amsterdam bag earns its place, or it does not make it into the design.
