Our Story

Active Amsterdam started with a simple frustration: every travel bag we owned was built for the airport, never for the road. For the drive to Como, the passes through the Alps, the weekend that starts the moment the engine starts.

We design in Amsterdam, a city built around movement. Bikes, canals, early starts, and the road out of town by Friday. That rhythm shaped what we make.

Why vegan leather

We chose vegan leather deliberately, not as a compromise. It ages more predictably than hide, resists water better, and lets us build with consistent quality across every bag we make, without the cost to animals or the environment that traditional leather carries.

Designed with restraint

No loud logos. No unnecessary hardware. Every detail on an Active Amsterdam bag earns its place, or it does not make it into the design.

Made for the drive

Our customers are entrepreneurs, executives and investors who choose to drive when they could fly: to the coast, into the mountains, across a border for the weekend. We build for the road, not for a single trip a year.
